Where this story starts, Crassius has been on the run from , and Greg, Carrie, Duke, and Lisa had just come back from a show. Duke and Lisa are characters from the second year of Exco who aren't very important in Backwater Planet. Also, Drakon is still in the custody of OIGA, and Tom is trying to save him.
